THE STATE OF IOWA IS NOW ISSUING THE CARDS FOR THE IOWA NON PROFESSIONAL PERMIT TO CARRY AND PERMIT TO ACQUIRE.
IF YOU HAVE RECEIVED AN IOWA NON PROFESSIONAL PERMIT TO CARRY OR PERMIT TO ACQUIRE SINCE JULY 1, 2017 FROM THE CLAY COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE, YOU MAY PICK UP YOUR STATE ISSUED CARD AT THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE, 3115 W 4TH STREET, SPENCER, BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM MONDAY – FRIDAY. THIS IS NOT MANDATORY, BUT PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR CURRENT PERMIT IN IF YOU CHOOSE TO HAVE THE UPDATED ONE ISSUED TO YOU.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is now accepting applications for a full-time Deputy. Applications can be found online at the link below for the Iowa Lakes Area Law Enforcement Coop.
