Case #: 17-016319
Date: 11-11-17

At approximately 2:22 p.m., Saturday, November 11th, 2017, I conducted a Lyon County arrest warrant check on Angela Campbell at 408 W. 2nd St. in Everly, Iowa. Upon driving by the house, I saw a female and a boy walk towards the front of my patrol vehicle from the north garage. I exited and asked if she was Angela Campbell and she said yes. I knew through prior knowledge, Lambert’s husband was Rocky. I asked if R. Campbell was home and she said no and he was on his way down the road right now.

Upon R. Campbell’s arrival, I asked if I could talk to them w/o having the son around. I explained there was a warrant out of Lyon County for A. Lambert’s arrest. I explained the information I had and was told her father had gotten caught smoking marijuana in her vehicle and upon law enforcement conducting a search, there were pills located. A. Lambert said the pills were her mothers and they keychain holder they were in broke so she put them in her purse. Lambert stated she didn’t think anything was going to happen with this and stated she had never been in trouble and always prided herself as being the “good one” in the family

Minor Injuries

ACCIDENT DETAILS

On 10/14/17 a 911 call came into the Clay County Comm. Center of a female reporting that she rolled her vehicle and she was still in the vehicle and it was on its top. Upon law enforcement arrival Audrey was located in the 1900MI of 500th St. It was determined through an investigation that Audrey swerved to avoid a deer. She left the roadway and when she re-entered the roadway she lost control of her vehicle. She skidded across the road and entered the south ditch. She entered the ditch rear first, hit a tree causing her vehicle to flip over and land on its top. Due to a very steep ravine that she entered, her vehicle then rolled approximately 2 times and came to rest on its top. Audrey reported minor injuries and was transported to the Spencer Hospital. It was determined that she was possibly intoxicated at the time of the crash and subsequently was under investigation for OWI. Her vehicle was a total loss. CCSO was assisted on scene by Spencer Police Department, Peterson Fire and Rescue, Sioux Rapids Fire and Rescue, Spencer Ambulance, Bud’s Service and Iowa DOT.
